Department of Radiology
The Department of Radiology offers full diagnostic services for Maricopa Medical Center and its affiliated clinics. State-of-the-art imaging services include:
Conventional radiography.
Computer-generated tomography.
Ultrasound.
Radionuclide imaging.
Mammography including sterotactic biopsy.
Magnetic resonance imaging.
The Radiology Department offers specialty services in angioplasty, aspiration and biopsy, biliary and many other areas including cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular tumor imaging and functional brain imaging. The staff uses the highest levels of technology and resources to provide patients with reliable and valuable radiology services.
The Department of Radiology is able to serve remote locations, clinics and other hospitals using teleradiology resources which increases response time and efficiency.
