Medical Professional Associates of Arizona (MedPro) is a professional corporation owned by its medical providers. Each year at MedPro�s annual meeting, the physician shareholders elect board members to two-year terms (one year four board positions are elected and the next year five positions). The nine member board, in turn, elects a chair, vice-chair, and secretary. Board meetings are held monthly. The Board answers to the shareholders for overall operations and financial performance. The Board is responsible for appointing the Executive Management and Administration of MedPro: a president/CEO, chief compliance officer, and chief financial officer. Together, they all contribute to the development of appropriate management policies and implementation of sound business practices.
